League of Rebels on KXAN’s Studio 512: Three Refined Looks for Thanksgiving

We were honoured to join the team at KXAN’s Studio 512 earlier this month to showcase three expertly styled Thanksgiving looks from League of Rebels — the perfect combinations for travel, cocktail night and the big Thanksgiving dinner itself. With timeless craftsmanship, premium fabrics and our signature attention to detail, each look reflects our ethos. Let’s walk through them.

1. Travel Look: “Effortless Arrival”

For the modern man on the move this holiday, we dialed in comfort without sacrificing refinement.
Key pieces & styling notes:

  • A soft-shouldered blazer in a blend that holds up to travel without creasing easily — tailored, but relaxed.

  • Low-rise jeans in a Sky-wash tone (we featured our slim-fit denim in 98% cotton & 2% elastane of Italian fabric) that cover you from airport lounge to arrival dinner.

  • A fine merino or cashmere-blend knit polo under the blazer for layering, ease of movement and style.

  • Leather sneakers or dress loafers in dark brown or navy to keep it sleek but comfortable.

  • Minimal accessories: a leather weekender bag, a pocket square that adds polish but isn’t fussy, and perhaps a heritage leather-strap watch.

Why this works for Thanksgiving travel:
You want something that transitions — from home to plane, plane to rental car, arrival to first drink — without feeling over-done or under-prepared. This ensemble hits that sweet spot of relaxed luxury: you’re comfortable, you’re dressed, you’re ready.

2. Cocktail Look: “Night Before..”

Next up: the cocktail night — When you’re mingling, toasting, enjoying the company. For that we went a step sharper.
Key pieces & styling notes:

  • A dark blazer — think midnight navy or deep charcoal — in a refined fabric (wool-silk blend or a subtle herringbone).

  • Trouser in complementary tone: not matching the blazer exactly (so it isn’t a suit feel), but complementary: e.g., a lighter grey or rich charcoal.

  • Crisp white (or off-white) shirt with French cuffs if you like cufflinks, or a dress shirt with subtle texture for interest.

  • Pocket square with perhaps a hint of seasonal colour (rust, deep burgundy) to nod to Thanksgiving.

  • A silk knit tie or a three-fold wool-silk tie — optional but adds polish.

  • Leather oxfords or derby shoes, polished to match the sophistication of the moment.

  • Accessory: a refined leather belt (we’d highlight our collaboration with the artisan belt maker in Bergamo, if relevant) and perhaps a timeless leather strap watch.

Why this works for the holiday cocktail:
You’re connecting with friends or family, maybe enjoying a pre-meal drink or hors d’oeuvres. This look is dressy enough to feel special, but doesn’t signal “black-tie” — which fits Thanksgiving perfectly. It shows you care, and you’re comfortable in your own style.

3. Thanksgiving Dinner Look: “Gathered Around the Table”

Finally the main event: the Thanksgiving dinner ensemble. More relaxed than the cocktail look, but carrying our brand’s signature craftsmanship and quality.
Key pieces & styling notes:

  • A tailored blazer again — perhaps in a textured fabric such as hopsack, tweed or a subtle wool-cashmere blend — something with character and seasonality.

  • A pair of chinos or corduroys in a rich autumn tone: deep olive, burnt rust, or warm camel. For example, our Brisbane Moss corduroy chinos would be a perfect match.

  • A fine gauge knit (turtleneck or crew) in a warm neutral (cream, light grey) or even a dress shirt with an unstructured knit vest layered.

  • Lapel pin or subtle accessory: maybe a holiday-season touch like a feather or small leaf motif.

  • Leather loafers or suede loafers (for a relaxed but elevated feel) or even a dress boot if the setting is slightly more rustic.

  • Belt crafted in our Bergamo belt maker collaboration — visible statement of quality.

Why this works for dinner:
You’re seated, you’re comfortable, you’re moving between courses, conversations, perhaps a toast or two. The fabric textures (corduroy, knit, rich blazer) echo the autumn harvest and the warmth of the gathering. It’s a look with depth, intentional layering, and comfort built-in — while staying unmistakably elevated.

Why These Looks Matter

At League of Rebels, our mission is to create menswear that bridges luxury and lived experience. Whether you're traveling to join loved ones, sipping cocktails before dinner, or settling in for the main feast, each moment calls for purpose in wardrobe.
By anchoring in timeless clothing, and craftsmanship, we show that style isn’t just about being seen — it’s about being known.

Our appearance on Studio 512 allowed us to visually present how style seamlessly intersects with holiday life: movement, connection, gathering. And we’re grateful for the platform.

Final Thoughts & Tips for Your Holiday Style

  • Pack smart: Use pieces that can shift from travel to arrival with a simple change of footwear or layering.

  • Celebrate texture & tone: Autumn shades and tactile fabrics (corduroy, knit, tweed) elevate the holiday look without feeling costume-like.

  • Mind comfort: You’ll be eating, toasting, perhaps standing and hosting — clothes should support that, not hinder it.

  • Include accessories of meaning: A belt with story, a knit tie, a pocket square in seasonal hue — these elevate subtly.

  • Own your look: At the end of the day, the most stylish thing is confidence paired with authenticity.

League of Rebels Vision for Holiday Style

Thanksgiving is a day of movement, gathering, and celebration. Our curated looks aim to guide modern men through each moment with style rooted in craftsmanship and intention.

We extend our thanks to KXAN’s Studio 512 & Rosie Newberry for hosting us.
